Johanna Tusa is a woman of faith who is deeply committed to serving God, promoting education, and supporting the well-being of families. Her passion for helping others has inspired her to become actively involved in educational, social, and community initiatives.

With experience in education, volunteer service, and community outreach, Johanna is recognized for her leadership, compassion, and genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

She currently serves as the Executive Director of Open Arms Community, a nonprofit community center located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, dedicated to providing support, education, and opportunities for personal growth to children, youth, and families.

For Johanna, serving the community is much more than a professional responsibility—it is a calling from God. She firmly believes that we are instruments of His love and that, through our hands and actions, we can become His open arms, embracing, supporting, and uplifting those who need it most.

Her mission is to build bridges of hope, bring hearts together, and create meaningful opportunities. She believes that when we serve others with love and compassion, we are fulfilling God's work.

Her philosophy of life and service is beautifully captured in a simple yet powerful phrase:

Youth Director

Mario Lara Mandujano, originally from San Luis Potosí, Mexico, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations and a Master’s Degree in Education and Foreign Language Studies.

He currently resides in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he works professionally in leadership and training at one of the state’s leading hospitals.

Dedicated to the well-being and development of the Latino community, Mario actively collaborates with Open Arms Community, a nonprofit community center committed to supporting children, youth, and families through educational programs, personal development activities, and community service.

His involvement focuses particularly on mentoring and empowering young people, promoting strong values, leadership, personal growth, and opportunities to build a brighter future.
